December 28, 2018. Hosted by Terra Alta and Accra Theatre Workshop
I'm excited to announce this project! Elisabeth Efua Sutherland and I will be presenting a re-adaptation of Handel's Messiah at the Accra Theatre Workshop. Six dancers and soaring vocals combine fluid movement, projections and a contemporary rearrangement of the score over live percussion and electronic synths to give a new take on the classic. Live accompaniment will be provided by the Afro-Maestros Orchestra. Follow us on our facebookpage for live updates!
